mymollysue Posted June 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2010 We are taking out DD (age 1) on her first cruise. We are sailing on NCL. Because she is still in diapers she is not allowed in the pools so we were thinking of bringing a small inflatable one. My question is if we bring it out to the pool deck, how do we fill it up? Can we fill it up using the water in the regular pools? I am just wondering what people have done in the past.
cb at sea Posted June 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2010 You can use a small bucket or large cup...you won't need much water...just enough to "splash"! Yes, you can fill it with pool water, but you can't empty it into the pool....you'll need to find a floor drain or shower drain.
patseacruiser Posted June 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2010 If I remember correctly there is a shower right next to the pool by one of the hot tubs. You can fill from there and there is a drain right there to empty to.
JACJAM Posted June 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2010 I've never brought a pool with me but have read somewhere that you should ask the staff on the pool deck for help. They can help you fill it and where to dump it.
