gam888 Posted June 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2010 We are a family of 5. Comparing hotel apts in Barcelona to booking 2 hotel rooms in the central area near Ramblas. Came across Hotel Citadina and Gutenberg. Confused about why on their own web site it says we still need two apts rooms, whereas on other travel web site (ie. booking.com) says we can all fit into 1. Wonder if these travel websites are accurate and reliable for Europe hotels. Anyone has any suggestions for apt hotel that can fit 5 in a apt in central Barcelona? Anyone knows how much a cup of coffee and pastry is in a local cafe? Nothing fancy but reasonable for breakfast? Thanks
slidergirl Posted June 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2010 Man, I've never seen a hotel room in Europe where more than 2 people would fit! Check out a site like vbro to find apartments. We used that for our place in Paris and it was very nice.
Kerry's Girls Posted June 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2010 I found the Hispanos Siete Suiza here on Cruise Critic before my cruise and it was as wonderful as everyone said. It's a hotel with apartments and will fit 5 in a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment for the price of two hotel rooms - plus you get a living room and kitchen. Great around the corner from Sagrada Familia near two subway stops, the hop on/hop off plus lots of take-away food places, cafes and groceries. We loved it and our extended family is staying there next week. Best, Mia
