Going on my 1st cruise and Im single. Are there a lot of singles on these cruises.

Carnival usually sits singles together in the dinning room for dinner. They also have single get togethers for under 35 and over 35. Sorry, don't know about other lines. (I am not single.)

Yes, you will find singles on all cruises. Some will be traveling solo, while others will be with a friend or family member or even a group

There are few organized events for singles & they are poorly attended. You will find each other but the cruise line won't be all that much help.

A good way is to be part of a large table at dinner -- do nothesitate to ask maitre d' to move you if you do not connect with table-mates the first night.

I noticed that the NCL Epic will have a new way to help singles to connect onboard. They have a new type of stateroom called Studios that share a "Studio Lounge" which is a place to grab a drink (coffee in the morning, afternoon tea, alchohol at night) for Studio single travelers to meet in. I think it's a great idea!
