Rum Point Transport Question

I'm thinking a day at Rum Point would be very relaxing but I haven't found any info about just going there directly to spend the day. Any suggestions on getting transportation there and back? I understand it's maybe a 45 min. ride from the tender docks, so a cab might not be the best choice. What are the options? Thanks in advance for your responses!!

Search "rum point" here in this forum, and you'll find lots of threads on the subject. :D

 

To summarize, though, the only feasible ways of getting to Rum Point are by rental car or via a ship or privately-booked excursion that includes a stop there.
