Where can I find a Fjord Excursion price list ?

Hello I'm hoping previous Fjord cruisers can help me out please..........I'm looking to find an excursion price list for trips on the 7 day Fjord P & O cruise.

 

We haven't booked our trip yet as we are deciding on a cabin but wanted to check out the prices of all the lovely excursions that are available on this cruise.

Umm, I've just looked through my Fjords file from Sep 09 and no excursion brochure which is strange, I think i booked online. But paperwork shows Briksdal glacier (from Olden) £92 FOR 2 1.30PM-5.30PM Which I would highly recommend if you are fit enough to walk for a hour each way to glacier up some steep hills.Coffee and cakes included after walk before coach back to ship.

We did a land train around Olden in the morning after breakfast (go early as tickets sell out as day goes on) £15pp but well worth it for the wonderful scenery, and not to be missed.

 

In Stavenger we did Lysefjord and Pulpit rock 1-4.30pm boat trip very nice too with waffles and coffee included at a cafe by the fjors edge surrounded by mountains....

Yes they are great, thanks. I think this one goes from Olden doesn't it? We're on A112 next May which doesn't go to Olden, but perhaps the OP's fjords cruise does.

Just back from the Fjord on the Ventura.

If you cut and paste the above link it will give you the chance to find out the local bus service link to the Glacier for you date. Enter Olden and Briksdalen into the appropriate boxes.

 

 

The cost for the service bus cost me £20 for two adults and two children for a return ticket. The bus stops at the dock and then runs to the entrance of the Glacier Park. You get the same route as the tour buses too and our driver even stopped for us to take pictures en route, yet there were only us four on the bus. This route is not only unspoken of by the cruise companies but also by the tourist office in Olden who tried to send me to the wrong place to catch it. I guess everyone tries to covet their £25 minimum per person charge for taking you there.

Cheers LibraLass, your photos are beautiful......you can almost smell that fresh air :)........ I love the trips include coffee and cake, its just those little touchs that makes it extra special. How was the ship in the storm ? Never crossed my mind that it would be stormy like that in the summer :eek:

 

Thanks Hobsondog for the fabulous price list, we can get down to choosing what trips we'll do now that we've got prices to budget to........thinking of half day trips at the mo, there are such a lot to choose from !!
