Drinks Packages

Hi All,

We are going on our first family cruise, with 2 teenagers (16 & 14) in August on the Ventura, and I have seen comments about various drinks packages - what options are available, and are they worth considering?

If your teenagers like cans of fizzy drinks you should stock up at the supermarket and bring on board.

All the cans on board are mini ones so when you ask for a large diet coke they give you 2 mini cans which will cost £1.50.

We always buy water and cokes from supermarkets when we go ashore and fill up the cabin fridge with them.

It all helps keep down the cost of the bar bill.;)

The only drinks packages we saw mentioned on our recent Ventura cruise were wine packages (6 bottles). I didn't see any reference to what US cruisers call 'soda packages'.
