A&Jfamily Posted June 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2010 Hi, Anyone off the Carnival Glory recently to Canada ( Saint John and Halifax) were the pools heated?? Were there kids in the pool? Thanks! Not that I could tell on the 1st day. But when we got back from our tour in SJ, the lido deck pool by the slide was certainly warm enough and had tons of kids. pe4all Posted August 14, 2010 #12 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Sailed Glory on 7/31. Pools were not heated. The water was pretty chilly in the a.m. - and we had great weather! (70's and 80's) The kids took over the main Lido hot tubs - were actually doing cannonballs in them, as if they were pools. But by the afternoon, pools were pretty busy. Aft pool not heated, either. Use aft hottubs - adults only.
waldocruiser1 Posted August 14, 2010 #13 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Yes, it is solar powered heat, If the sun is out, the pool will warm up, if it is cloudy, it wont. Unless the kids and lazy people are in the pool, then it is heated to about 98.6 degrees, seams to come and go.
Title39 Posted August 14, 2010 #14 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Sailed on Glory 8/9. The Aft pool was heated. The Mid-ship pool was not. I swam in them both and did the waterslide. Lots of fun.
