bsb4273 Posted June 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2010 We will be sailing on RCI (Serenade) for the first time in September. We have booked My Time Dining. My understanding is that we can dine when we want, as we have done on previous lines. However, does one still need to make a reservation? How far in advance can one make a reservation for say a table for 2? I also read some place that you can make reservations for specialty restaurants online before sailing. Is this true and how far in advance can one make any reservations?
cb at sea Posted June 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2010 No, you don't need to make a reservation, but you may, if you want to. The whole purpose of MTD is to dine when you like. Most folks who do MTDing like to be alone, so a table for just your party won't be a problem. You can make reservations, either in advance, or daily, or not at all....whatever suits you. Sheffie Posted June 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2010 MTD is perfect for the Serenade. With such a busy itinerary, you may want to eat at a different time than is for the regular schedule. We love coming back on the ship, sharing a sandwich from the Sea View Cafe, and then having a later dinner. As stated above, you do not have to make reservations, but you can if you wish. I would just plan on winging it. You will love this ship and the itinerary. She is our favorite ship! Have fun planning!
