Ruby Princess - Is there lively entertainment/nightlife on this ship?

Hi All

I booked this cruise to the Eastern Caribbean for my 40th birthday. I was trying to find if the nightlife is pretty active. I thought it was but then I came across some negative posts that Princess is an older crowd.

I wasn't sure what the average age was on a Princess ship. I was reading on some other posts where people were complaining there wasn't any young people on this cruise only only older people.

Is the entertainment fun at night or does mostly everybody go to bed early?

I have never been on Princess before, so I didn't know.

Thanks!

The Ruby has plenty to do in the evenings - you will have much to choose from. Between the shows, comedians, casino, nightclub, movies under the stars (MUTS) I am sure you will have a variety of options. We were aboard for 10 days in late March and we never had a lack of things to do. We are in our mid 40's and I couldn't begin to give an average age as we saw families with small children and couples celebrating 60 years of marriage. You will be very pleasantly suprised - ENJOY!!!

Bunch of totally old foggies who are dosing off by the second seating!

Seriously, for the larger ship there many venues with things going till midnight, depending on where you are sailing and the crowd its a seperate question as to how crowded and lively the crowd is.

IMHO the Princess crowd is not older or boring, I'd say they attract no different a demographic age wise then the other lines in their price group but a more elegant type crowd :D
