Loved the extra space, we booked late so the minimum occupancy was waived. There is lots of storage and sitting space. There is a walkin wardrobe and a seperate room with bunk beds which is across from the bathroom. This didn't have a door it just had a curtain for privacy. As we were travelling with a toddler we put the pack n play in here. The bunks were not very long and were wall to wall so wouldn't suit a tall person. Would book again in a heart beat, didn't really miss the ocean view. Edited June 24, 2013 by juicy1 spelling error

We never heard any noise and it was convenient for everything. It had a lovely big window because it was part of the old restaurant and the window was larger than normal. gammat Posted July 2, 2013 #261 Share Posted July 2, 2013 Ship -Explorer of the Seas Deck - 6 Stateroom - 6334 Stateroom Category - D3 Superior balcony MUSTER station D21 4th floor dining room Starboard side of the ship Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) - yes, despite being on a "T" intersection to the interior hallway. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Just aft of the hump, so looking straight forward was obstructed slightly but was never an issue. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal Was wind a problem? -no If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? Since it is at an intersection with a fair amount of traffic from staff and everyone in the interior rooms, one should not open the door when someone else in the room is "exposed" also there was always carts outside the room for cleaning and such. Any other comments? the balcony is metal instead of plexiglass so we had to look over the railing which was NO PROBLEM. the location in the ship was better than perfect. we had quick access to center aft steps, which we used often. during the busiest times we could take the steps to the Palace theater, main dining room, casino, promenade and bars for a quick drink to bring back to our room. Travel R Posted July 2, 2013 #262 Share Posted July 2, 2013 (edited) Ship - Legend of the Seas Deck - 7 Stateroom # - 7526 Stateroom Category – D3 Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes - although if the door to the balcony was not closed properly, there was noise from the wind coming through (on windy days/nights). Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No real obstruction. A very slight overhang from balcony below -- but only restricts about a 5% of the view of the sights directly below. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal Was wind a problem? - No - but you have to get the balcony door closed correctly, or the wind will blow in. If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? - Only slight issue with getting hot water out of the bathroom fawcett (the shower had very hot water when wanted). Any other comments? - Includes a bed for two and a couch with a pull-out that sleeps two. It is obviously not the largest cabin, but during the day, it was not too crowded with 2 adults 1 teen & 1 pre-teen. During the night/morning when the couch was open, it did get a & made up as soon as we got back from breakfast. Although there was a refurbishment, you can still see slight aging/rusting outside on the balcony around the glass under the railing. There is a mini-bar (thatactually keeps your items fairly cold), and the TV is now a flatscreen. AC also worked fine in this stateroom. Close, but not too-close to the stairs/elevators - did not hear any noise from other passengers outside. Plenty of space for all out clothing and we easily fit all four of our large suitcases under the bed. Edited July 2, 2013 by Travel R

(With comments on problems) – I heard some noise from the Centrum when I went to bed at 9:30 one evening. The other evenings were find when I went to bed later. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no Balcony View - perfect view. We didn't have any of the lifeboats below us, so we could see straight down. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - no Was wind a problem? - being in Alaska, it was colder than a caribbean cruise would be. When out on the balcony at times, it was cold, but not because of the wind If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -n/a Any specific problems with this cabin? - we really enjoyed our cabin. It had 2 beds together to make a queen/king. Also had a couch by the balcony that opened into a bed that our 15 yr old slept on. Balcony Size? - Normal or oversized for class? - Very large and enclosed balcony. I have seen these described as "cove" or "hull" balconies. It was wonderful and felt very private. Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? - None, highly recommend for mid ship location and lack of noise. Any other comments? - The cabin was very large with a sofa and two living room type chairs. Another advantage was the very long desk that took up the entire wall and had two chairs so that my DH and I each had our own desk. It was a wonderful cabin! It was huge!! I was solo so i had one king size bed. I had plenty of room for mobility scooter and all of the spoils from much shopping!;) i loved having the little love seat and the table (to hold wine bucket and room service meals!). This is my first inside cabin and i would select it again in a heartbeat.:):)

Normal or oversized for class? - N/A Was wind a problem? - N/A If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? - Just crazy noisy plus the beds seemed to be original - they were not the great comfy beds we're become used to when sailing. Safe was old too - not digital - bring an old library card or anything with a strip for use. Any other comments? - Cabin was spacious for a lower deck interior but there was no cooler/refrigerator. It was also a connecting cabin so there was a small chair rather then a sofa. Friends were in 3601 - theirs mirrored this cabin with noise, beds, chair etc., but they had a newer digital safe.
