Enough Time to get to Fort Lauderdale from POM

We are cruising (with NCL) from POM, but looking at flying into and out of Fort Lauderdale through Southwest. My question is: Will we be able to make a 12:35 flight out of Fort Lauderdale if we get into port around 8:00 am? I know we would not be able to leave the ship until around 9:00 am. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Carry your own bags off. Have a shuttle booked and reconfirm shuttle just before you fly out. Lots of cabs but tab will be near $100 with tip.Shuttle under $25 each.

The ride from POM to FLL takes about 45 minutes or so. SAS (www.ridesas.com) is often suggested for shuttle service to FLL - typical rate is $15 per person. A taxi will run $85+ :eek: Good luck!:)
