We are driving to Galveston from Houston on 3/12. What time have people been able to start boarding the Grand? We are thinking of getting there around 11:00. We want to make sure we miss all the people who are disembarking. We have people dropping us off so we don't have to worry about parking. Any advice would be appreciated.

We showed up about 1030, when the disembarcation was still running strong.... Got right on, it was a pleasure, to think that we could have started our vacation 4 or 5 hours later seems ridiculous now. get settled in your room, find your bearings around the ship before it gets crowded. have fun!

We arrived at the terminal at 1:30pm. and it was a breeze checking in and boarding. It must have taken us less than 15 minutes to board the ship. We still had time to eat in the Horizon Court prior to the muster drill.
