safety drill with toddler

We will be cruising with our 13 month old and wanted to know about life jackets during the safety drill. Do they have sizes that will fit our toddler or should we bring our own for him?

They will have children's lifejackets....if it's not in your cabin, ask the attendant for one. You won't need to bring them to the muster drill, tho....but do make sure you have a child-sized one in your cabin!

the cabin attendant will get you an infant one and your cabin will already have the child sized one and adult ones. Some lines require you to take them to the drill, others not. They usually excuse those with toddlers/babies fairly quickly from the drill

make sure you try it on your toddler to get used to being able to put it on fairly quick and it fits properly . we have one we bring with us cuz she likes to use it at the beaches

My advice is try to be one of the last to line up if the cruise line you are going on does the full drill. Then you will be close to the front when sardineed and will have less time in a confined place.
