There are plenty of such policies out there. TravelGuard, which I use regularly, is one. However, make sure you read the details of the particular rider to make sure they would fit your situation. If you think it might not cover you, look into a policy with a Cancel For Any Reason rider.

The Travelex policy we had for our 2008 cruise covered work-related cancellations, and the policy we have for our upcoming cruise through Travel Insured International also has work-related coverage.

 

For the work-related coverage to be available, the policy had to be purchased within 14 days of the initial trip deposit, and there are specific requirements that must be met in order for coverage to be provided (i.e. written/notarized statement from employer requiring the employee to be present at work, etc.)

 

Its best to research individual policies to find the one that fits your needs the best.
