What additional tips besides prepaid

Hi all! 1 month till we sail on our frist ever cruise for our honeymoon. I have a question that you might help me answer. We prepaid all gratuites when we booked with our TA.

Are there any addiotional gratuites that need to be pais on board?

A gratuity is automatically added to the cost of drinks at any venue. That will just show up on your ship board account...ie a $6.00 glass of wine will have a total of $6.90 on your bill. (15% tip)

If you order room service, you might want to tip the person that delivers it to your stateroom (a couple of $$). It's handy to have a bunch of dollar bills on hand for that purpose. If you partake in any spa/salon services, you can add on an appropriate gratuity at the time of service, or if you dine in the specialty restaurants, you might want to give an additional gratuity to your waiter. Other than that, I'm drawing a blank on anything else....

Congratulations on cruising on your honeymoon. You may want to have money to tips luggage handlers if they escort you to your cabin. Some others are tour guides and taxis drivers. Although tips are added to your drink tab, at the end of the cruise we tip our favorite bartender a little extra.

We always take at least 50 ones when we cruise so we can tip as necessary. We always tip room service and then others if they really go out of their way for us. We always leave the automatic gratuities on our account. We usually tip our waiter and the cabin steward a little extra if they have been incredibly good. We have only had 2 cruises out of 16 that we did not want to tip our room steward extra. One of those was on Carnival and the other was Ralph on the Infinity.

I have found that if there is something you need each day in the buffet, I drink lactose free milk, that a dollar to the server the first day brings your needs to you a lot faster and sometimes, if you sit in the same place, without asking. The lactose free milk has to be gotten from downstairs.

The only other tips may be to porters, cab drivers, and if you use room service (a cash tip on delivery is sort of expected...$1-2 is fine)

There is no need to tip any server in cash....if everyone tips the suggested amounts, everyone who is entitled to a tip is covered.

I know that there are those who will disagree with me, but we always tip the stevedores who take our luggage at the pier. You may also need some cash if you want to tip your guide or driver if you do any shore excursions. There are places that have good public transportation systems and you will need cash for that.
