Has anyone ever had cabin L106 or L107, just wondering how much movement there is, privacy, wind and did you enjoy this cabin? Thanks for any help you might give us.:o

The balcony is unuseable when the ship is underway due to wind.

My husband and I stayed in L106 on the Crown several years ago, and I might be able to shed light on some of your concerns. First, there is more movement that high up and all the way forward. The seas were rough when we went, but we didn't experience problems. Second, we would hear the balcony furniture being tossed about at night by the wind and would wake up finding it in odd positions. Our steward would straighten it out when he cleaned the room. Also, the balcony does not have a glass panel. It is a solid panel, so you can only view the water while standing. The balcony is not private. There is an observation deck over the bridge, which is about a half-story above the balcony next to where the bedroom is. The bedroom has an obstructed view from a window rather than a sliding door. People can easily look down on you while you are outside. They cannot see inside the rooms during the day, because the glass has a reflective tint. The suite itself is large and comfortable. Our bathroom was of the mini-suite design and had a tub/shower with tile. I'm happy to say, we did enjoy the room and, of course, our cruise. It's a very convenient location!:)
