Epic

What "open space" is there on any new cruise ship other than "on top?" Epic has a terraced seating area with lounge chairs at the rear of the ship (called Spice H2O) that offers plenty of "open space" for sitting and "seeing the ocean."

Have you sailed on any other cruise line besides NCL? Would hope so, but with this response have some doubts.

Solstice class - deck 5

Nieuw Amsterdam - Promenade deck

Freedom Class - Deck 4

Dream - Deck 4

They all have decks exposed to the seas euphemistically called Promenade decks. Not having been on Epic, I do not know if the same is true. On deck 7, they have a jogging track (stbd) and deck games (port) . . . are these areas open to the sea.
