want to buy Conch Shells

We will be in Freeport and Nassau and want to buy Conch Shells. Last time I was in Nassau you could buy them on the way to the straw market. Still true?? Suggestions ??

We saw them for sail (June 9) near where we docked, as we walked to Senor Frogs in Nassau! Have fun.

We've seen them there on every trip we've made to Nassau.

If flying home, remember to put in your checked luggage. They might take away if in your carry on.

Paid $5 a shell at the straw market in April. If you don't want to even have to venture in, the vendor right at the front usually has them. LOL

i wanted to buy one when we were there in January...they were BEAUTIFUL....just no place to put it--they were HUGE and i was afraid it would break if i even tried...i settled for a conch bracelet that i purchased inside the terminal area...GOOD LUCK!!!

Just bought two last week when we got off the boat that took us to Blue Lagoon Island. They were $5 each and just beautiful. Be prepared that they are very large and quite heavy to carry if you are continuing to shop.
