beemergal Posted July 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2010 From the online layouts, it looks like the Penthouse Veranda suites are the only ones that have loungers (fold down deck chairs for sunning). I am looking at a Deluxe Veranda (which includes Neptune amenities), but I only see regular chairs on the balcony. Can you get the full recline type upon request? CruisinManiac Posted July 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2010 Not that I know of, but the chairs do come with foot stools. ;)
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 3, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2010 None of the loungers in the PS cabins that we have been can recline. For the SA -- there are 2 chairs and 2 ottomans, 1 cocktail table, 1 larger table where you can eat -- and this varies -- sometimes we have had 4 chairs at the table -- sometimes only 2. You can ask for a lounge chair -- but your verandah is going to be very crowded. There are a few CORNER aft cabins that have loungers.
E-500 Posted July 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2010 On the V-Class ships the standard verandas are all 9 feet wide, but range in depth from 4.5 ft, to 6 ft, to to 7.5 ft. The class of stateroom you have determines the depth. Only the 7.5 deep verandas can comfortably accommadate a lounger. You will have to request one and usually the steward will comply.
