Recommended Posts

We sail in less than 2 weeks - can anyone tell us how the weather is in St John in July?? We cant wait to sail from NYC to St John and want to pack the right clothes. Thanks for the help!!

You will likely get some nice warm weather, maybe even hot and muggy. Check this site daily, weather forecasts can change dramatically from one day to the next. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/index.php?product=weather&placecode=canb0088&switchto=f

What will the weather be like in early September?

Warm days, cool nights. Daytime 60 - 70 +, nightime 50 - 60 + bookmark the weather site linked above and keep an eye on it closer to your cruise.

We just did 4 nighter, July 8-12, 2010, On Carnival Glory NY city to St. John, NB it was very foggy the majority of the trip. Fog horn day and night both days at sea and fog and rain in St. John. Can't control the weather but fun trip anyhow. Suggest you take a light jacket and small umbrella just in case.

We just did the July 12 Glory sailing and it was the same as what JC described. Fog while at sea and a steady drizzle in Saint John. We had to turn the air off in the cabin for most of the trip. We did have a beautiful day in Halifax on Thursday.

Saint John's weather is a lot different from the rest of the province. It is often very foggy and cooler. I live about an hour away and it isn't uncommon for their to be a 10 to 20 degree difference is the temperature.
