tikibeach Posted July 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Probably booking an inside cabin this time, and wondering which decks are not all closed off due to balconies? :)
cb at sea Posted July 9, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Deck 4 has the promenade outside. and then deck 11 and up are open. Of course, the Royal promenade (inside) is an option, too. Check the deck plans!
tikibeach Posted July 9, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Thanks for the response - have the deck plans, just couldn't tell if decks 4 & 5 were open.
MikeNJ1109 Posted July 9, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Every cruise we've ever taken on RCCL, our favourite spot to hibernate / walk is on Deck four...it's quiet ... the ocean is at "eye-level" ... not too many people walk by there, usually only a handful of passengers or ships crew ... plenty of lounge chairs. Even on a ship the size of Voyager or Liberty, you get the feeling of being the only people around ... we love it. Michael and Silke
ERIE 13 Posted July 9, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Agree with all of the above reports. For the those who want a workout they have a great track up on the top deck. Have a great cruise. You are going to love the Liberty.
Quigley10 Posted July 9, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Deck 4 is the outside deck and quite nice, but it doesn't go all of the way to the front. Near the front, there are stairs to Deck 5. Deck 5 is the deck with the helipad in front. I imagine it'd be great exercise to do laps on Deck 4 including the stairs to/from deck 5 in the front! The jogging track is Deck 12. I think it's 4.5 laps to the mile?
