flight times

If you hurry and everything goes well, you'll make it to the 12:35.

If disembarcation is held-up by customs you won't make it. If the ship is delayed by weather. you won't make it. If construction causes traffic backups, you won't make it. You get the idea.

I'd recommend that you pick a later fight, perhaps even later than 1:25 and bring a book to the airport. It depends on how tolerant you are of having to deal with problems at the airport. I've booked close-call flights and missed them having to fly later on stand-by.

A barely-related anecdote:

Coming home from a DCL cruise, our flight was late into DFW and we missed the connecting flight, we had to wait two hours for another plane to OAK. We left the ship at 9:00 AM Eastern time and arrived in Oakland at 8:00 PM Pacific time. That's 14 hours of traveling. It was a rotten way to end a great cruise.

Our ship will be docking at 8:30 AM. What would be a good time for a flight home? Is a 12:25 flight enough time to get off the ship and get to the airport or should I go with the 1:25?

Thanks
