Indy from Southampton - smoking or non?

Are you sure - I'm positive there is no smoking in the Casino on Indie.

Like to know the answer to this, as on the Explorer the only nights free of smoke were Formal Nights.

 

It was the only place we did not enjoy being in as it was awful.

When I was on Indie in April, smoking definitely WAS permitted in the casino. It was very unpleasant, IMO, and I speak as an ex-smoker (from many, many years ago:o).

 

The rules on smoking areas may be different on sailings from Southampton, as opposed to sailings from US ports??:confused:

I have to admit, as a smoker, I have never known the casino to allow smoking.

I was on In May this year and it wasnt allowed at all, so unless it was relaxed up until then.

Strange.

I am back there is September, so will check it out, if anyone wants to know.

That's what I was wondering, particularly given UK smoking laws.

RCL does not use UK laws on smoking. The policies on board tend to be company wide, where there is limited allowance for smoking in desioignated arwas, but those areas may vcary ship to ship, and Indy does have one of the more restrctive policies, Jewel, which also sails out of the UK atm has more internal areas that allow smoking.

No, and I guess they don't have to as they're not a UK company. Good to know what we can expect though.
