Photo Editing Software Needed

I have a Lumix DMC-ZS3 and I want to take some photos and video and make a u-tube video or nice quality video out of it lets say. What software would you recommend that I could purchase for under $100 to accomplish this. I am not a computer geek so an amateur should be able to use it. Hope that there is something for me! Thanks!

Here are some suggestions:

1 Software editing:

2. Video making:

If you use windows, there is an application that comes with your computer called "Windows Movie Maker

I third picasa for the most simple of editing ( contrast, color balance, etc. ), cropping. For more invloved editing photoshop elements which is below your 100 limit is good for almost everything except for the most complicated editing.

I use the free software that comes with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

I also use Windows Live Photo Gallery to edit pictures.
