Freeport, the closest town is 7 miles away. Almost nothing at the port.

 

What did you have in mind to buy?

Nassau definitely has the biggest variety of the two.

I was tempted to say neither, but will go with Freeport.

 

There is a small shopping area at the port in Freeport, but most people will head to Our Lucaya for shopping - $5 each way for a shared ride.

At Nassau, you can find some conch shells and the straw market is near the port.

There are some nice shops in Nassau on Bay (?) street, a block over from the port building.

Nassau for sure, Freeport has very little there.
