Nukeworker Posted July 18, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2010 Sailing on the Glory 12/19-12/26 with wife, daughter, son-in-law and 4 grandaughters (11,12,13,14). Does Carnival decorate for the Holidays?
bigtoeswim'n Posted July 18, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2010 Nukeworker: Yes indeed CCL decorates for Christmas in a lovely way too. We sailed the Fantasy otta Mobile last Dec 10/2009. The main areas were decorated. I have read on these boards the decorations go up somewhere betweeen T-day and Christmas. It sure gave a festive and special touch to that cruise. Hope this helps. pe4all Posted July 18, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2010 The ships are very pretty over the holiday. A large Christmas tree is in the atrium, holly and lights are wrapped around all the railings, Santa visits Christmas Eve, Christmas dinner in dining room, holiday music playing. Very nice. GayleR Posted July 18, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2010 We did a Christmas cruise last year on the Triumph. They do decorate and Santa shows up. In fact we saw Santa while we were waiting to depart the ship. He picked up my 17 year old son. Needless to say, the picture is priceless. Great memories! :D
2oldsisters Posted July 19, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2010 Not only do they decorate, when you get on the ship they are handing out free unlimited glasses of champagne!!
