Taking a big group on the Dream 18 rooms/ 47 people. Want a way to communicate with everyone. Anyone that has cruised on the Dream or is boarding soon..Are the doors metal. Thinking about buying dry erase boards to keep in touch..Thanks

we use suction cups with little short metal hooks on them on Independance of the seas.. they work great for hangin all kinds fo things on your doors..we hung a Canadian flag from the olympics on ours so we knew which door was our cabin from along ways off.. Some silly person left us sticky note that said something to the effect of USA hockey rocks Canada sucks..No harm no foul we took off the sticky note ... Not sure if it will serve your purpose but good luck

The doors are not metal but the wall next to it is and we were able to use magnets on that.

So, the doors aren't metal but the wall next to it is? Can you elaborate further? Are there mailboxes on or near the door for each cabin? We were planning on bringing dry erase boards ourselves so that our group of 18 could communicate with each other...but, if they will not stick to the doors, I guess we won't be able to do that. If there are mailboxes, we could leave notes.

Yes, there is a mailbox for each cabin. Your steward will leave flyers and advertisements, etc, and you can leave notes for each other.
