Balcony vs. Mini Suite

Although I specifically mentioned the Ruby a lot I understand there are identical triplets in the fleet and the Grand class ships are the same size minus Riviera deck. I picked a ship to name one instead of a bunch. Whether Ruby is still in the Mediterranean when I sail or not is irrelevant.

 

If I am not mistaken the Ruby and the Grand are the only two "Grand" Class ships that sail the 12 day Mediterranean and there is a difference between the two ships.

Just off the CB & our Captain was discussing the new ships with us....

 

He mentioned the capacity will be higher-

 

but only by 400-500 not mega numbers...like Oasis

I can't decide on balcony stateroom or mini suite for a Star Princess cruise. Does anyone know how big the bath tub is - is it 1/2 size or can you lie down? Also, is the water OK?
