What's the fun pass?

Fun pass is kind of an expediting check in. If oyu fill it out online your cruise documents will already be filled out when you get them.. Once at the pier you wont have to wait for the check in clerk to key in all your informations-- its already done.

Hi! We filled out the Fun Pass information via internet

and printed them out as instructed.

 

AFTER security, we were getting ready to line up to check-in when I told the Carnival guide who was directing people traffic--(proudly) we had our fun passes.

 

He responded. "Oh, EVERYBODY has a Fun Pass", bursting

my bubble. :(

 

I DO think it made things easier/faster because all of our personal information was already in their computer, but apparently EVERYONE does it (and should!)

Actually it makes it faster at the counter. If you have compeleted in advance, it saves checkin time at the counter. It may not save TONS of time, but it will save you time.

 

Now blow that bubble back up, you were good to have done it in advance!!!!!

Just did ours today - quite a bit of information to include but it's done and over with. Better than having to handwrite it all out!

Here's a thought - if everyone has a funpass, would the non-funpass lines be shorter?

Carnival is the FUN ship..so thats why they call it's the FUN PASS.

Part of the reason for the "Fun Pass" is the new Homeland Security rules. This gives them the opportunity to do back ground checks on the passengers ahead of time similar to what the airlines are doing.
