New Year's Eve

We are considering a cruise on Silver Cloud which would include New Year's Eve. We are familiar w. Silver Wind so our question is not about the ship but rather, about the New Year's Eve festivities. Would appreciate any information. Thank you.

We were on Silver Spirit this past New Year's Eve. The main dining room had a festive dinner and party favors, and the lounges had entertainment/dancing and party favors and midnight toasting with the officers making it around.

Was there an especially festive environment? Caviar? Something special in addition to the nightly music/entertainment? Inside or outside/on deck?
