jckvpa0 Posted February 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2005 Can my son bring his playstation on board & be able to hook it up in the room? I know he'll never use it, but had to ask the question.
Rowan555 Posted February 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2005 There were no accessible a/v inputs on the television in our stateroom on Conquest. Camp Carnival has Playstation 2, but they have limited hours of use. My 5 year old brought his gameboy with him on our last cruise - this kid is ALWAYS playing gameboy - and he played it MAYBE 20 minutes the whole 5 days (and that was when we were stuck in the cabin with his napping sister). jckvpa0 Posted February 9, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted February 9, 2005 Thanks, he's 16 & most likely won't go to camp carnival, most likley will be checking out the girls by the pool.
cali-croozer Posted February 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2005 He can bring his Playstation 2 games to play at Camp Carnival......hours will be announced in the Camp Carnival activities page. It's only about one hour a day, so he'll have more than enough time to do other things on the cruise. Even though you don't think he'll go to Camp Carnival, encourage him to go to teen meet and greet on the first night. He may find some friends there and get the "Camp Carnival" schedule for the week. At his age, there won't be too many activities planned, but he may find one or two that sound fun. That's the thing about Camp Carnival......it's a pick and choose type thing....do only what you want! Have a fun cruise.
serene56 Posted February 9, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2005 Its real important for him that he attend that first meeting the first night-- no matter how lame he thinks it is.. No matter how cool he thinks he is., That meeting will let him meet other kids for his cruise that week. I suggest that you tell him that kids between certain ages have to check in here - something. it WILL be the best thing he will do for himself all week. (he will silently thnak you somethime during the week,
