fourcruisin Posted July 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2010 Looking for a nice hotel in the FLL area that is clean, convenient and had a great pool. We have stayed at the Renaissance and the Sheraton Clipper and both are nice but I am looking for a wow factor in the pool area. Any suggestions? Thanks. royalcruz Posted July 23, 2010 #5 Share Posted July 23, 2010 W Fort Lauderdale Beach has a pool that has a glass bottom into the stairwell to the lobby and has huge comfortable futons. It overlooks the ocean so that you feel like you are at sea. On weekends there is a DJ, so there is a pool party. Pier 66 has a really nice relaxing resort pool area. fourcruisin Posted July 23, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted July 23, 2010 Thanks for the suggestions. I will check into them. Hopefully I can celebrate my 50th bday at the pool with a fou-fou drink!
chris58 Posted July 23, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 23, 2010 Hi, I will also suggest Hyatt Pier 66. Stayed there in march 09 for a few nights before and after a cruise . flying to/from Scandinavia. Also Sheraton Yankee Clipper (was there in 08) if you have a room at a top floor with a huge window-wall overlooking the see. Magic. /chris58
