adapter plugs

hi

could anyone tell me if this is correct please,

plugs for your hairdryer,phone etc

are they the american plugs as against eu plugs??

i never gave this a thought until a friend mentioned it,

as we are only going europe you just think europeon!!:rolleyes:

but im thinking it will be american adapter plugs

On IOS you will have American plugs in the cabin...But there might also be a European plug for items that are 22V or dual voltage, so if you want to be able to use that outlet you would need either the UK type adapter or the European two prong round. For a more definitive answer, you might ask on the Royal Caribbean board under Cruise Lines P-Z. EM

Although they have both European and US sockets on the line I use, they are never UK ones so I always bring a UK-European 2 pin adaptor - actually I take 2 so that I can still plug in my hairdryer or straighteners if my phone is charging

Also, depending on how many plug in things you have a small power strip or an extension cord with some extra sockets is helpful. We bring both.

 

There usually aren't that many outlets per cabin - either that or there are a lot of outlets, depending on how many plug in things you have with you.
