luvs2travl Posted July 25, 2010 #26 Share Posted July 25, 2010 I bring a zip bag with Purex 3 in 1 sheets in it. Great to toss in washer & then it is the dryer sheet and good to clean the lint filter than many folks do not do & that is a fire hazard. $1 a load & a 40 minute dryer was great. Then for those who love to iron they have them too. We are carry on & bring 5 days of clothes for a 10+ night cruise, 4 for a 7 nt cruise. 5am NO ONE IS IN THERE! I thought the launerettes opened at 8:00AM???

tango nana Posted July 25, 2010 #28 Share Posted July 25, 2010 Do you need to bring coins for laundry and if so, how much for washer and dryer? we'll be on coral princess in august. Thankyou
pablo222 Posted July 25, 2010 #29 Share Posted July 25, 2010 On Princess, at 5am, the laundry area is locked. Depends on the ship, and then on the location. On emerald, some, but not all are 24-hours.

Thankyou If the Coral is like the Pacific, then both the washers and dryers take four U.S. quarters for each load. We brought a roll of quarters, but you should be able to get them at the Purser's desk.
