Ships laundry- Are there options?

I bring a zip bag with Purex 3 in 1 sheets in it. Great to toss in washer & then it is the dryer sheet and good to clean the lint filter than many folks do not do & that is a fire hazard. $1 a load & a 40 minute dryer was great. Then for those who love to iron they have them too.

 

We are carry on & bring 5 days of clothes for a 10+ night cruise, 4 for a 7 nt cruise. 5am NO ONE IS IN THERE!

Do you need to bring coins for laundry and if so, how much for washer and dryer? we'll be on coral princess in august. Thankyou

On Princess, at 5am, the laundry area is locked.

 

Depends on the ship, and then on the location.

 

On emerald, some, but not all are 24-hours.

If the Coral is like the Pacific, then both the washers and dryers take four U.S. quarters for each load. We brought a roll of quarters, but you should be able to get them at the Purser's desk.

And no one will be there until nearly 8am. But you are at the head of the line when they open at 8am
