Airfare - PHL to SJU in December

Recommended Posts

Anyone that has flown from the Northeast to San Juan in early December...what did you pay for airfare? I've been watching the prices for a couple weeks and noticed that they started at about $375 pp and have dropped to $235 pp (all roundtrip.) Just wondering if you think that they'll continue to drop. Thanks.

We are flying our of Newark on Continental non-stop for $236.00. We also live in Philadelphia area, and this was by far the cheapest and best flight around. Booked directly on Continental's website. Far cheaper than Expedia, Orbitz, etc.. Good luck

Paid $318 per person Non stop from PHL to SJU for a May 2nd cruise. Thought that was good, at $235 per person I would jump on it and stop looking.

That's because Feb. is a prime cruising time and offers some of the best Caribbean cruising weather, so air prices to FL tend to be high. Early Dec. is a VERY slow travel time, especially to someplace like SJU. Grab that $235.00 and enjoy!

I doubt very much that the price is going to drop. With the rise of fuel it is only going to go up. My friends bought tickets 3 weeks ago at a really good rate too and it has gone up another $200, 2 days later. So its a good thing to grab the price when you can.

Till the Enchantment!
