Does anyone know the cost of using Rogers (Canada) service, both phone and text, while on a Caribbean cruise, both on the ship and in port?

If so, which one? I would like to be able to leave my phone on for the whole trip (Southern Caribbean, 11 nights) so I am always accessible, but am concerned about facing an enormous bill when I get home.

Nope, I use my phone very sparingly. So, it was a better deal for me to just pay the international roaming rate for a few brief calls and texts.

 

When DD and I went to the Bahamas recently, I just made sure to turn off the data connection to my Blackberry so that I wouldn't pay to download the scads of emails that were piling up at work.

 

That's my plan for our upcoming cruise ~
