Santorini - A Simple Night?

We are sailing on the NCL Gem and will be in Santorini on the 31st August. We would like to keep it as relaxed as possible and plan to walk around, take in the atmosphere and then chill out for the evening.

It's been a bit of a dream of ours to have a romantic night overlooking the caldra at sunset. Ideally we would love to just order a local bottle of wine, breads, dips and regional olives and watch the sun set, rather than have a full meal.

I have been looking for a resturant / bar in Fira that has the views and a lighter menu. Does anyone have any suggestions for a place we could book in advance...and make our night special?

If you stroll along the pedestrianised streets, you'll find all manner of restaurants, tavernas, little cafes.... You can look at the menus, and choose. Look for the seaward ones, or with enough height to see the sun setting behind the volcano.

Enjoy!
