bookbabe Posted July 28, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2010 We're going to do our own thing in Grand Cayman...our 2nd trip back...does anyone know of some good restaurants to have lunch in? What's your definition of a "good" restaurant? Do you want something fancy or casual? A specific type of food? Indoor seating or outdoor patio? I've eaten in quite a few of the restaurants downtown and along the Seven Mile Beach trip...but without a few more details, I have no idea what to suggest... :D
BrnCty Posted July 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2010 Have timeshare in Cayman. Go to East End - Not touristy. Portifinos or Lighthouse. Not certain of lunch, however. Good Luck!
TurtleTagger Posted July 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2010 Take a look at this website which has menus and pricing (add 25% for US $) to find some restaurants that look interesting. Then come back and post your choices for feedback. http://www.caymangoodtaste.com/restaurants.asp Also, while I am a fan of the East End and North Side of the island, it is a bit out of the way to go just for food when visiting on a cruise IMO. If heading to the Botanical Gardens or other Eastern District destinations then by all means include the other areas as options. If not, I would stick to George Town, Seven Mile Beach and West Bay locations.
