shopping in Antigua

Can anyone tell me what the shopping is like and where to shop?

We will probably do a tour, but I always like to shop about an hour sometime during the day.

To be honest, the shopping's not Wow-great! like St.Maarten

but there is some shopping to be had, close to the pier.

You might notice a boardwalk connecting your pier to the other pier

-in that area are some cute touristy shops where the ladies might find something.

There's also some shops within about two blocks of the larger/longer pier

and their Museum is worth about 45 mins. of your time to see whatever...it's about 3 or 4 blocks inland

-consult the map your ship should give you for that day.

Don't bother shopping. Do all your shopping in St. Marteen that is the best place. Go to Prickley Island for the day and relax. You can do tour thru cruise. It was awsome. All the food, drinks, chairs unbrella for 5 1/2 hrs. Beautiful..
