blueblock Posted August 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2010 Yes, there's Wifi in some of the public areas, plus wired computers in the computer areas if you don't bring a laptop - but in my experience, it is very, very slow.

cb at sea Posted August 1, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2010 It's $.65 per min....less if you buy a "package" of mins....the larger the package, the less per min. charge it will be. There is no way to get a "free" connection.
cruiseequalsfun Posted August 1, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2010 Honestly I would use it only for an emergency. Since I've crusied before with RCL, I get a $ credit (last cruise was $7.50) which was about 11 free minutes. You can not do much in 11 min. It is slow, think slower than dial up. Ports will have internet cafes and prices are very reasonable and speed will be good. For example, in Mykonos the internet cafe at the beach we were at (Paradise Beach) had like a 15 min, 30 min, 1 hr plan. I did the 30 min for 2.50 euros! It was fast and I was able to check email and reply to a few. You could try to google internet cafes for your ports, or perhaps check out the ports of call thread to see if anyone has posted any!
