1 night cruise

We are booked on a one night cruise on the Rotterdam. What should we expect? Will there be a show that night? What will the dinner consist of? Will the shops be open? Thanks for your help.

I am assming that this 1 night cruise is really part of a longer cruise??

 

There will be the usual dinner. If this is part of a longer cruise -- there will be the welcome aboard show.

 

The shops will be open -- all the llounges, bars and casino will be open.

We did a 1-night cruise on the Rotterdam this past May. It was excellent - far better than I thought a 1-day'er would be.

 

There will be dinner, a show, and all bars, lounges etc. will be open. The casino and shops will be open as well, but keep in mind these have hours that can fluxuate depending on when the ship crosses from international waters back into US or Canadian water.

 

The Spa (with the exception of the thermal suite) was also open, and had a pretty good package deal for three treatments for one price.

Yes, it is part of a longer cruise. I have never been on Holland America, so this is a nice way to get a taste for a future cruise.
