Nice Airport to Hotel Suisse in Nice Old Town?

Can anyone give me suggestions for getting from the Nice Airport to the Hotel Suisse?

 

I understand that it is a short trip, but the price I was quoted from a private car company was over 100 Euros, which seems more than excessive.

 

What would the price of a taxi (for 2 people) be for the trip?

 

There also seems to be a bus, but as best I can tell it does not stop very close to the hotel, and after 24 hours of flying I'm not very excited about a hike from the bus stop to the hotel with luggage.

 

I've sent an inquiry to the hotel but have not heard back from them.

 

Any help re our options and expected costs would be greatly appreciated. :)

As I remember, the price should be around €35 from the trip from the airport into town. If you have a lot of luggage or a fourth passenger, you can be hit with a surcharge.

from airport to Hotel was approx.$40.00 with tip for luggage help...Hotel right on main road,so ask for room to side for less traffic noise,,,still great view of town and ocean....can walk around corner to pier area for cheaper breakfast,,,hotel too expensive for what you get....only took 20 mins,depends on traffic...lovely town to explore....;)

Thank you, 6rugrats and alexandra cruiser, for your helpful replies. I also finally heard from the hotel, which also recommended a taxi and quoted 30-35 euros. So, that will be the way to go! I am looking forward to wandering around Nice. :)
