We do not smoke, and try to avoid it as much as possible... where on the ship do they allow smoking?

Sounds like your still undecided on whether or not your going a cruise or which one!But anyway,as you should know, smoking is not very popular anymore, certainly not on a cruise ship...its a fire hazzard. As I recall, the only smoke I could smell was at the outside area of the aft bar! There you are!:)

Yes... I am very undecided Tom!

I think I will need to put pen to paper and list the pros and cons.

One major thing about the Princess cruise is 2 days at sea. My DH does not enjoy sea days as much as I do...

Thnx for the info!

The only place smoking is allowed is outside on deck 8. I really only saw a couple of people smoke during our last cruise last year. I am sensitive to smoke and found it not to be a problem.

We were dining with a woman one night that I thought was on some kind of drug and was very jumpy and edgy. When we inquired about it, she told us that she was a heavy smoker and had run out of ciggies and was dying to have a smoke. Someone got up and promptly found her a smoke and afterwards she was just fine(she went outside to smoke.
