Yes,in Category B they do.Not sure about others!Call PG and ask them.:)

For what they charge for category B you could buy a Bose dock and throw it away after the cruise...several times over.

 

Don't expect to spend THAT much time in your stateroom. Go listen to Hal Fraser.

Yes, ipod docks in B and above, and none in the lesser cabins. Not Bose.

 

I agree, the B cabins are great, the location fabulous, but not for the money (I got a very good upgrade to one in 2008.)

My wife had an iTouch, and we have an adapter that plugs into the wall to charge it. I think they will have one for you iPod also

One of my favorite hints from the board was to bring a speaker that you could put your ipod on and have the music on the verandah or while getting ready. SOme of them have charging capability. Mine was a cheap one I found on sale.

Next time (unless we get a 4 category upgrade), I think I will buy an iHome clock radio for $99 and put it in my suitcase. It would be nice to have a clock and the ability to dock and play (and wake to) music from my ipod. Nice neat package for small $$.

We have the ihome clock. It's nice that it charges the ipod as well as playing it. Not particularly compact though.

No, but it's smaller/neater than a pair of speakers and all the cables, etc.

Others have recommended one of the Altec portable speakers. I would go to an Apple store and see what they have, and make sure to test out the sound quality--many of them are pretty poor, but I believe the Altec InMotion is pretty good. Of course, if you want a clock radio anyways, it's a pretty good solution. I guess we could take ours along in December if we wanted!
