todays traffic report at the Brooklyn Cruise terminal

What was wrong in Brooklynn? I will be cruising from there in 8 weeks!

hopefully they had a one time disaster. Its generally been better than the Manhattan cruise terminal. But last week 60 out of a scheduled 84 longshoreman(luggage and freight handlers) were no shows.

Today was fine. No one has fully explained why it happened other than the numbers above.

I doubt we'll ever have any real answer on that either. If it was a wildcat union action, nobody will admit to it because it would be a flagrant violation of contract. Likewise if it was a managerial "mistake", no bureaucrat is going to point the finger at themselves. Best to just hope it was a one time occurence, and things have settled back to normal.:cool:
