Are folkestone Marine Park and Paynes Bay close by each other?

Hi there! I'm a newbie but we're doing a Southern Caribbean in January and I'd like to do both the Marine Park and swim out from Paynes Bay to swim with the turtles-would this be possible or would I need a taxi to get to both places? THanks!

Not impossible to walk the shoreline from one to the other.

They're about 1.5 miles apart, and you'll get to walk past Sandy Lane Hotel in between the two.
