Explorer, oct 9, 2010, tips?

First RC Cruise, 1st trip to Bermuda. Been reading some helpful hints on here, thanks everyone...keep em coming.

 

Any singles or singles w/ kids traveling?

Hi,

 

I will be sailing on October 9th also, I will be traveling with 3 other single women all from the Jersey Shore. (small world) We have a thread for our cruise on the Roll Call Forum and a few of us are planning to get together for sail away. I don't know if anyone has kids though, no one has mentioned any.

Tip...bring binoculars!

Tip...get a large table at traditional dinner seating, so you'll have adults to talk to! It's much more fun than eating alone!

Tip...eat breakfast in the dining room...nicer than the buffet!

Tip...enjoy!

Lot of good info there on: public transportation, beaches, the Dockyard, sea glass, points of interest, etc.

 

Several Bermudians post to the board that share their local knowledge.

You will have a blast - we were on the Explorer in June.

 

We simply fell in love with Bermuda. The beautiful scenery, the wonderful people, the clear water - it was a joy.
