How far in advance to make shuttle reservations

We are travelling from Lax to Doubletree in San Pedro this Nov.13. How far in advance do you think we should make reservations for shuttle to hotel and probably execucar back to Lax due to earlier flight?

I would do this in early October. You can do it sooner or later but if it was me I would do it then. A couple of days before I would also followup just to double check on everything.
