Cherub21 Posted August 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2010 We would be interested to hear from others travelling from Hong Kong to Dubai on Nautica next March with a view to planning some shared shore excursions and meeting up for a drink, meal on board. This is our 3rd Oceania cruise and we have really enjoyed them all but have been a little disappointed with some excursions. We are an Australian couple (he retired businessman and she semi retired lawyer/company director) and do not favour mass bus tours. We would like to disuss the possibilities of morning taxi/small bustours in Vietnam, Mumbai, Rangoon with others taking this cruise. We are very interested in travel, reading and good meals with good conversation. We really like the open seating on Oceania - casinos don't really do it for us! Any ideas? K-Roo-Zers Posted August 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2010 Hi cherub21, We, too, are an Aussie couple who did the Nautica Hong Kong to Athens, a couple of years ago. I think it was their innaugural cruise. DH and I went with my Mum who turned 80, and we had a blast. She always said she would return home to her birthplace, Bombay (now Mumbai) and we did. DH even found the guesthouse her parents used to own. It is a fantastic itinerary and we loved it. Dearly wish we could join you again. DH and I are trying Regatta around the Caribbean for Christmas/New Year for the first time. Have a wonderful time and good luck with it all. Do look at the roll call though. If you want to contact me, please feel free. Nicki nicster@internode.on.net
